To what extent

Can’t I be free

In this faceless place

To what extent

Shouldn’t I be

With my voice visiting

Every corner in this city

How many walls should crumble

Before you understand that I have nothing

But my voice to carry me

Standing on the blue shore

I’ll sing for my city

For the kids in my neighbourhood

The moons in the gray houses

And their absentees

For the right to be free

I sing in the streets

With my hair blowing

Louder than your words

Holding my guitar

Leaving my love afar
